EUSTIS, Florida – Police are urgently looking for a man who robbed a local clothing store at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
Eustis Police Office Lauren Brown told Lake Legal News that around 10 a.m., a masked man pointed a gun at an employee at Cato, 2820 David Walker Drive, located in the same shopping center as Publix and demanded money from the safe. The employee was injured, but the degree of the injuries was unclear at press time. Witnesses told police they saw a black male in dark pants, a white shirt and a knitted cap flee the store and jump into a waiting, dark-colored, two-door car. The car fled towards David Walker Drive, Brown said.
