CLERMONT, Florida — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after three bodies were found in a home in unincorporated Clermont Tuesday, according to LCSO Lt. John Herrell.
A pool service employee arrived at the home at 11328 Avenida Augusta in Crescent Lake Club and noticed a foul odor, Herrell said in a press release. Patrol deputies arrived at the home and forced their way inside where they found three bodies.
“Based on the preliminary observations of the scene, it appears may be a double murder/suicide,” Herrell said.
Neighbors have not seen the residents of the home recently; the investigation is still active.
This is a developing story.
