LEESBURG, Florida — Twin brothers apparently upset at a man for giving their sister a flower on Mother’s Day, are accused of stabbing the man multiple times, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Julian Kyron Marshall and Julius Tyron Marshall, both 34, are accused of attacking the victim in the front yard of his girlfriend’s mother’s house on Mara Court, according to a probable cause affidavit. The victim, who went to UF Health in Leesburg, told police he went to his girlfriend’s mother’s house shortly after noon on Mother’s Day to bring her flowers. While he was there, he also gave a flower to the twins’ sister. The twins are then alleged to have attacked the victim, stabbing him seven times in the head, torso and arms.
The victim told police he did not realize he had been stabbed until the altercation was over. He said he did not know which brother stabbed him or what he was stabbed with. The victim drove himself to his girlfriend’s job and when she saw the severity of his stab wounds, she drove him to the hospital for treatment. The victim was able to identify both brothers; his girlfriend has a child in common with Julian Marshall, according to the affidavit. The victim’s liver was lacerated in the attack and he required treatment at a second hospital, the affidavit states.
A warrant was issued for both men the same day and they were arrested Saturday for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and both released the same day on $10,000 bond.
