LEESBURG, Florida – Police on Saturday located Paul Daniel Shock, 39, drinking behind a Best Value Inn dumpster at 1412 South 14th Street and arrested him for trespass after warning. “He spontaneously extended his arms and placed his hands together as if to indicate he wanted to be handcuff[ed]” when police contacted him, according to an arrest report. Shock – who had previously received a written trespass warning by police – asked, “was that what that pink piece of paper I was given earlier was?”
Shock was described by police as being “under the influence of alcohol [and] exhibited slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet with bloodshot eyes.” He was taken to the Lake County Jail to be held on $1,000 bond.
