EUSTIS, Florida — A Leesburg woman who was arrested for shoplifting twice in the same weekend, earlier this year has been arrested again.
Nicole Ashley Misso, 31, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after Eustis Police were called to the parking lot of Winn Dixie, 1955 North State Road 19, Eustis on a report of several individuals being loud and possibly using drugs in a blue Dodge around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest affidavit.
When EPD arrived and located the Dodge at the front of the store, an officer spotted Misso and man approach the Dodge that had two white males in it. Misso was carrying a red purse and the man was carrying grocery bags, the arresting officer noted. Lake Legal News is not identifying the man with Misso because he was not charged with a crime.
EPD spoke with the driver of the Dodge and he said he came up to the store with his friends to get groceries and was using a Dremel tool that may have been loud, according to the affidavit. Another EPD officer spoke with the passenger, Gregory Michael Kramer, 38, and when he leaned forward the officer saw a small bag of methamphetamine, the affidavit states. Kramer was asked to exit the vehicle and upon searching him, he was found with a small bag of heroin and a spoon in his pocket.
The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and police found a glass pipe and a syringe near where Kramer was sitting, according to the affidavit. They also found more than $75 worth of ribeye steaks and country ribs in the red purse Misso was carrying. She was asked to turn her pockets inside out and a bag of heroin fell out; she told police she did not know it was there, according to the affidavit.
She was taken into custody and placed into a patrol vehicle where she admitted to an EPD corporal she stole the meat, but she was not charged with that crime. According to the affidavit, the working manager did not have the authority to prosecute.
Kramer was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and possession of drug equipment. He was released from the Lake County Jail on $5,000 bond.
Misso was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug equipment and three violations of probation. She is being held at the Lake County Jail on no bond.
