MONTVERDE, Florida – A man is dead following a single-car crash New Year’s night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Daniel Silva Cabal, 31, was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry, southbound on County Road 455, north of Willo Pines Lane, when he failed to negotiate a curve, said FHP Lt. Kim Montes.
Cabal left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
