EUSTIS, Florida — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man suspected in multiple thefts around the city.
Christopher Lamar Edwards, 34, is suspected of stealing lawn equipment and other items in and around the downtown area, usually late at night, said Eustis Police Officer Lauren Brown. “We have probable cause for his arrest,” Brown informed Lake Legal News.
Edwards is known to frequent the Eustis Lake Walk and according to Lake County Jail booking records from 2018, he is homeless. He has been booked into the Lake County Jail nine times since 2012, on charges including violation of probation, battery, burglary and grand theft.
