LEESBURG, Florida — Authorities are investigating a helicopter crash that occurred around 4 p.m Tuesday.
According to a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) four people were on board the Sikorsky UH-60 firefighting helicopter when it crashed. The helicopter was performing a training exercise when it crashed in a marsh near Leesburg International Airport.
It is unknown at this time if there are any survivors. Lake Legal News is near the scene, working on getting more information.
