LEESBURG, Florida – When police responded to complaint of a battery-in-progress Saturday they found a man with a red, swollen, and bleeding scratch mark down the right side of his face, according to a police report obtained by Lake Legal News. He accused Tiffany Sherial Pierson, 29, of scratching his face and locking him out of a residence located at 137 Grove Ridge Circle. “The victim advised”, however, “that he did not want to provide a written statement and he would not allow officers to photograph his injuries”, according to the report. The man’s outlook changed dramatically when he could not locate his game system, and accused Pierson of having taken it; it was only then that the man wanted Pierson arrested for battery.
According to the arresting officer’s report, Pierson “advised that the victim could collect his belongings and leave. The victim then entered into the residence and collected a large suitcase and several items. He then became upset when he could not locate his game system. He accused the defendant of hiding the system; however she denied his allegations.”
It was only then, according to law enforcement, that the man reversed himself and “stated that he would cooperate with officers and provide a sworn written statement as well as allow photographs to be taken of his injuries.”
Pierson was booked into the Lake County Jail and bond on her misdemeanor battery charge was set at “None.”
