CLERMONT, Florida — A 22-year-old Davenport man who Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies found trying to jump out of a third story window is behind bars after being accused of two domestic violence incidents within a week.
Christian Jordan “CJ” St. Cyr is accused of confronting his girlfriend while she was in her friend’s car parked in a Walgreens’ parking lot on April 9. St. Cyr demanded she get in his car and he told the driver, “If you drive away, I am going to shoot your tires out,” an arrest affidavit states. St. Cyr then took out a gun and started waving it around and shot in the direction of nearby bushes, causing the driver to be “in fear for her life.” The women called LCSO, and St. Cyr left the scene.
On Thursday, LCSO responded to The Glen II at Cagan Crossings on a report of a fight in progress. The victim, St. Cyr’s girlfriend, told deputies they were talking when he pushed her by the face into a bedroom. The woman was naked, and St. Cyr poked her and when she tried to leave, he pushed her onto the bed and locked the door, according to the affidavit. She then screamed for her friend to call 9-1-1.
Deputies arrived and the victim was able to flee St. Cyr; when they entered the bedroom where he was hiding in a closet, he tried to jump from a third-floor window and an LCSO sergeant convinced him to come inside. Deputies explained he was under arrest and he resisted when they attempted to take him into custody, and he was tased. Deputies were able to handcuff him and upon searching St. Cyr he advised he had a gun on him. Deputies found a loaded firearm in his right front pocket.
St. Cyr was arrested for discharging a firearm in public, aggravated assault with a firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm, false imprisonment, battery and resisting arrest. He is being held in the Lake County Jail on no bond.
