PAISLEY, Florida — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is releasing very little information on the heavy law enforcement presence in Paisley at County Road 42 and Fisherman’s Road Thursday.
Acting on a tip, LCSO began searching the area in reference to an active missing person case and a cadaver dog alerted to the possible presence of a body, LCSO Sgt. Fred Jones told Lake Legal News. LCSO is not releasing the name of the person they are looking for at this time, Jones said. The LCSO dive team has a planned dive to search nearby Lake Lulu, according to Jones.
A post on the Facebook group Paisley FL Word of Mouth had garnered 55 comments at press time with speculative comments as to what law enforcement was doing and who they were looking for. One Facebook user posted a screenshot from the LCSO Facebook page that was posted Jan. 21. In that post, LCSO posted an “Attempt to Locate” Keith Tyler Lebby, 29. The post stated Lebby was last seen in the Dona Vista area around midnight Dec. 11 driving a white SUV. That vehicle was involved in a “situation” at 12:22 a.m. the same day and it was later found parked on Fisherman’s Road, according to the post that was shared 243 times. Lebby has not been seen since.
LCSO has not confirmed it is Lebby they are looking for.
This is a developing story.
