THE VILLAGES, Florida — A Villages man has bonded out of the Lake County Jail after being arrested Thursday for 17 counts of possession of child pornography.
Acting on a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) searched the home of Kevin Paul Clark, at 914 Privett Drive. Clark lives with his parents, according to his arrest affidavit.
Clark, 28, told FDLE agents he was currently on reserve status with the United States Air Force and had been staying at his parents’ home since September, the affidavit states. Agents allege they found 17 pornographic images depicting children as young as 8 years old on Clark’s computer. He was taken to the Lake County Jail and held on no bond until his bond was reduced to $34,000 on Friday. He was released the same day.
