LADY LAKE, Florida — An argument over a PlayStation escalated into a stabbing Tuesday night, according to an arrest affidavit.
Lady Lake Police responded to The Cove Apartments on U.S. Highway 441/27 shortly before 8:30 p.m. on a report of a fight. The victim told police he was in his apartment when Sean Patrick Green, 35, began aggressively knocking on his door. The man answered the door and Green “aggressively” asked for his PlayStation back and the victim told him the male who had the video game console no longer lived there and attempted to shut the door.
Green is alleged to have stuck his foot in the door to keep it from shutting and the victim pushed Green. Green pushed him back and they began fighting and ended up outside in the yard area. Green then pulled out a knife, the victim told police, and cut the victim’s head and arm. The victim took the knife from Green and threw it. He then pinned Green down until police arrived, according to the affidavit. Green said the victim’s glasses cut the victim, but his injuries were consistent with a knife. The victim was treated by Lake EMS.
Green was taken into custody and arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held in the Lake County Jail on $10,000 bond.
