TAVARES, Florida — A Sanford man accused of unlawful sexual behavior with two children he was babysitting was booked into the Lake County Jail on two felony charges Friday after being found in Texas.
Anthony Jack Walker, 35, is accused of sexually battering a male child and touching a female child in March 2019, according to a probable cause affidavit. Lake Legal News is not publishing the graphic details.
Walker was staying in the same home as the children in March 2019 and is accused of molesting the children while their mother was out of town, according to the affidavit. The children disclosed to their grandmother what Walker had allegedly done and their mother then reported it to law enforcement.
The children were interviewed by Lake County Sheriff’s detectives and again by a Child Protection Team worker at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Leesburg. Both children, whose ages are redacted, told authorities what Walker did to them in detail, according to the affidavit.
Walker was interviewed by detectives in August 2019 and said he did watch the children but denied touching either one of them inappropriately. A warrant for sexual battery and lewd and lascivious conduct was issued in June and Walker was transported from Texas to LCJ, where he is being held on $150,000 bond.
