MOUNT DORA, Florida — A woman who refused to let her roommate in the mobile home they share, was charged with punching him, kicking a Lake county Sheriff’s Office deputy and resisting arrest Saturday.
According to an arrest affidavit, LCSO responded to Riley’s Mobile Home Park in unincorporated Mount Dora shortly after 2:30 p.m. in response to a call from a man who said his roommate refused to let him in their home. Lisa Marie Decicco, 54, could be heard in the background of the call saying, “Just because you live here doesn’t give you the right to come in my house,” the arresting deputy noted in the arrest affidavit.
When deputies arrived, they spoke with Decicco and the victim; the victim said Decicco would not let him in the home and deputies advised her he could break a window to get in if she continued to refuse him entry.
Decicco went into the home and locked the door and the victim knocked and asked her to let him in. She told him to go around back where he found the door locked and then Decicco exited the home claiming the victim punched her from outside, according to the affidavit.
Deputies entered the residence and found Decicco punching the victim through a broken window in the door. An LCSO deputy told Decicco to put her hands behind her back because she was being arrested for battery and she refused. She then kicked the deputy in the torso.
“[Two deputies] both attempted to handcuff Decicco who was violently resisting arrest by pushing and pulling away as well as attempting to knee deputies,” the affidavit states. One of the deputies utilized his taser to gain control of her and she was finally taken into custody. Decicco was examined by Lake EMS and taken to the Lake County Jail where she remains on $16,000 bond.
