CLERMONT, Florida — Two men are dead following an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday, according to Lake County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Fred Jones.
An unidentified man went to the home of his estranged wife’s parents on Windchime Circle in Clermont, confronted his father-in-law and shot him to death, while his estranged wife was present in the home, Jones said in an email.
The man then apparently then went outside and took his own life. Neither man’s name had been released at press time. The investigation is ongoing, Jones said.
This is a developing story.
