SORRENTO, Florida — A Sorrento man is at least the fourth Lake County man to be charged with possessing child pornography in just over 6 weeks.
Acting on a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents began investigating two files located by Google that depicted girls as young as 5 and 7 years old, according to a probable cause affidavit.
FDLE investigated and found that the files traced back to Jeremy Philip Moore, 47, of Okaloosa Trail in Sorrento. Moore is the owner of Pretty Smart Technology, according to the affidavit.
An arrest warrant was signed by a judge on July 24 and Moore turned himself in to the Lake County Jail Thursday. He was released on $10,000 bond.
