MOUNT DORA, Florida — Lake County Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking the public’s help with the investigation of man’s murder in Mount Dora Friday night.
LCSO deputies responded to a home at 3801, West Old U.S. Highway 441, Lot 5, Mount Dora around 9:30 p.m. Friday on a report of a man being shot. Upon arrival, they found 27-year-old Tevin Williams suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, said LCSO Lt. John Herrell in an email Saturday morning. Williams was pronounced dead on the scene.
“There are clear indications that this incident was drug related,” Herrell said.
Williams was in a black passenger car and detectives believe two suspects fled on foot. They are asking anyone with information on Williams’ murder to call LCSO at (352) 343-2101 or Crimeline at 1-(800)423-TIPS (8477.)
