EUSTIS, Florida — Eustis Police Department has released still photos of a suspect in the armed robbery of Shell on North State Road 19 Tuesday night.
The man, wearing a Jason-style hockey mask, entered Shell, 1905 North State Road 19 around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, with a shotgun and a handgun and robbed the clerk of cash at the register and took the clerk’s cell phone and car keys, said Eustis Police Officer Lauren Brown. He is described as white, 5’9”-5’10”, bald, slim build with a brown or reddish jaw-line beard. He was wearing a black leather jacket, khaki pants and the mask. The man left through the front door, went around the building and fired three shots from the handgun, Brown said.
He then fled in the clerk’s vehicle, a black, 2007 four-door Mazda 6 with tag number II43KL. The right front headlight is out and its missing the passenger door mirror. There is a “Quicksilver” sticker on the passenger side of the windshield. The car was last seen eastbound on County Road 44. The stolen car has not been located, Brown said.
