CLERMONT, Florida – Clermont Police are searching for two suspects who reportedly raped a woman Wednesday afternoon.
An adult female alerted a passerby around 5 p.m. she was attacked in the area of Lake Hiawatha Preserve, 450 12th Street, Clermont, according to a press release. Police believe the attacked occurred between and 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The victim described the suspects as two adult males wearing dark clothing, race unknown.
This is an isolated incident and do not believe the public is in danger, the release states. Anyone with information on Wednesday’s incident is asked to call Clermont Police at 352-394-5588, option 3.
